My Spontaneous Life
January 8, 2011 - Breezy’s show in Upland.

Last weekend was a particularly special adventure for myself (Breezy). I am an acoustic musician and I had a show in Upland at my favorite venue, The Wire! It was a very special show for me, due to it being the birthday weekend of a very good friend of mine who passed, and I sang a song written for him… so it was emotional, and intense… but it was exactly what it needed to be. All my friends came down to the show and enjoyed the evening with me, and I could not be more pleased about how it went. The evening was very busy and hectic so we didn’t take much pictures ourselves that night… but here’s a family shot of all the bands that shared the stage.Thank you for the amazing night <3

December 31 2010/January 1, 2011 - New Years in Valencia!

Wow, I’m slacking bad on updating this… so I’m doing this last two weeks catch up right now before we all embark on yet another amazing adventure tonight. Two weeks ago it was that big night.. NEW YEARS! We couldn’t all be together due to Lauressa having a boyfriend to spend the special time with… and us single ladies needing a crazy night out! (minus Ali, shes got an amazing boyfriend, so he came with us!)  So I (Breezy) loaded up my brightly colored vehicle with some of the best people known to mankind (Arielle, Erin, Ali, and Jordan) and we all mobbed down to Valencia for an exciting night of friends, music, drinks, drama, dancing and just plain amazing times! I took the kids to Del Taco when we got down to Valencia so they could stuff their faces with food that made me want to vomit (yes, I have to throw in some Vegan pride!) and then we proceeded to the Party.

The night began with pictures of our amazing dresses (Duh, we’re girls.)

Some of more experienced party kids partook in some intense BeerPong battles.

and then it moved to LOTS of dancing… LOTS OF DANCING!

and of course lots of other fun things here and there…

But as the clock struck twelve, we raised our glasses and blew our obnoxious little whistle thingies to a new year… which all of us are very excited about!

So happy new years everyone! May the year be everything you always wanted. Let life come to you…. and if it doesn’t… do what we do… and make it happen yourself! =)

<3 Love always, Breezy

December 25, 2010 - Merry Christmas!

So, due to the busy holiday week last week, we could not embark on a crazy spontaneous adventure together… but I think that our individual Christmas’s can count for some crazy times. But in honor of staying happy and having healthy social lives… we did have a lovely girls Christmas dinner. So Merry Christmas to us and everyone else. More adventures are to be had… starting this weekend… brace yourself.

December 18, 2010 - Train Rides and LA Life

So, this morning we all woke up thinking we were going to Venice Beach for adventure #2… but the weather decided we needed to be a little more spontaneous so it got all rainy and forced us to come up with something else to do… So first, we wound up at a Pizza place and purchased a large Vegan Pizza to take with us on our adventure…

That Pizza got on a train with us…

(and it disappeared quite quickly… into our bellys)

That train took us to Union Station…

From there… we just picked a Subway line… and hopped on…

From there… the subway took us to LA and Hollywood.

Where we walked around in the pouring rain…

getting starbucks and cupcakes along the way (phones were dying at this point so the pictures stopped unfortunately). Arielle and Lauressa ran through a fountain with a group of tourists and danced… a lot. All over the place. At the Chinese Theater… at the train station… on the subway… on the train. There was a lot of dancing… and a lot of singing. We’d all burst out very loudly “Oh the weather outside is weather!” … even had the people on the train next to us singing it by the time they exited the train. Before boarding the train back home… our last stop was Olivera St.

Where some Dream Catchers were bought and some subway sandwiches were consumed. The train ride home was probably the most noteworthy part of the whole adventure. Why, it was as good as it was… I don’t know. But it was. We sang and danced… burped the alphabet… ate subway… rapped… laughed… cried (the good kind from laughing too hard)… came up with some amazing plans for our future. Just enjoyed where we were and who we were with… what we were doing and why we were doing it. Life was meant to be lived. And we most definitely did that today. Oh! and our slogan we came up with while on the train ride home… was “If life gets you down… curb stomp that bitch!” … we’re trying to think of a less vulgar… more inspiration slogan… but that’s as far as we got. A lot of our day was caught on film… therefore a video will be posted soon… to prove the fountain incident… dancing… singing… burping… and laughing. We entertain ourselves so well sometimes. Now the adventure is over… and as I’m typing this… both Arielle and Lauressa are passed out asleep on my couches. The day has left us all exhausted, but happy. Very, very happy.

December 12, 2010 - Huntington Beach

The first Spontaneous adventure took Lauressa, Arielle and I to Huntington Beach. The car ride there we enjoyed the musical stylings of OneRepublic, the Spice Girls, NSync, Britney Spears, and A Phoenix Forever… Yes, we definitely know how to pick out music. “Good Life” is our theme song from now on. =) We started the evening off by putting 2 and half hours worth of change into a meter and then parking somewhere completely different… so someone else would get a lovely surprise. =) We then got Starbucks (go figure) and frantically searched for a restroom, but got distracted by the drum circle going on, and I nearly pee’d myself. We walked the pier and went window shopping… ok we may have done a little real shopping too. I took, quite possibly, some of the worst pictures of Arielle and Lauressa the world will never see, on the pier. We got “holla’d” at by 2 very drunk groups of guys… but don’t worry… Arielle told them whats up and to not talk to us like that. haha!! Our adventure ended at Fred’s Mexican Cafe and Cantina, where we indulged in delicious Mexican food. And our drive home consisted of making our list of adventures we plan to embark on over the coming weekends.

And So began my new life of happiness.
